Product Information

The Tour of U.S.A. National Parks is filled with thousands of pictures, audioclips, video clips, narrations, and media descriptions of the vast resources of the National Park System of the United States.  It includes over 30 minutes of videos and over 400 photos covering 352 National Parks, Historic Sites, andMonuments!

Search
The Search feature is very powerful.  Simply type in any word or phrase you want to look up, for example skiing, fishing, camping, etc.  You will get a list of all the parks that havewhat you are looking for.  Select any name on the Search list and you will be provided with the name, description, address, contact phone numbers and a compact outline overview of the park.  The Search feature itself has additional HelpInformation built right into it.  You can combine search words any way you want.  For example, if you wanted to go skiing but your spouse wanted to go fishing, you could look for a park that had both skiing and fishing.  If you wantedpicnic areas but definitely no restaurants, you could type in PICNIC NOT RESTAURANT.   You can get very elaborate in your searches, for example: FISH* AND SKI* AND BICYCL* AND PICNIC* NOT RESTAURANT*.

Index
There arethree indexes; each one is an alphabetical list of some sort, either the Armchair Visits, the Special Topics, or the Master Index which has all of the parks on the disc - over 350 of them. Using the Master Index is an easy, quick way to look up thedetails on a specific park or subject that youre interest in.  Details include the name, description, address, contact phone numbers, and a compact outline overview of the park.  Using the Armchair Visits and Special Topics indexes is idealfor more detailed exploration of parks and activities.
